Businesses in the commercial and industrial sectors can enjoy the benefits of their energy-saving efforts through their BGE’s energy rebate program. Customers can enjoy rebate awards when they retrofit inefficient equipment, make renovations or build a green facility. Incentives usually a total of no more than 50% for retrofit projects and up to 75% of the incremental cost for new construction projects.
In addition, small businesses can get the added bonus of energy rebates for upgrading their lighting fixtures with more energy-saving measures for 80% of the project cost.
