It is recommended that new construction and major lighting projects are pre-approved, but this is not a requirement.
Businesses interested in the FinAnswer Express Program for their lighting measures must download and fill out a lighting incentive application. After they buy and install the eligible equipment at an eligible location, then they must hand in the completed application. Companies receive their rebate checks within 45 days after submitting a completed application.
