According to the U.S. Department of Energy, about 7% of all energy consumed in the U.S. is from lighting. Just think of all energy consumption in schools, health care facilities and such use in any given day. Many of these industries are switching to fluorescent high bay lighting to replace less energy-efficient measures. For many new and exiting facilities, maximum efficiency is the order of the day.
